The problem
What salt actually does under there.
If you drive Dune Road, your car takes salt two ways. The obvious one: tidal flooding. At high tide and after storms, parts of the road sit under standing brine, and driving through it sprays saltwater directly into the wheel wells, the subframe, the brake lines — the bare metal a car wash never touches.
The quiet one: salt air. Oceanfront spray deposits salt on every surface, every day. It's the same reason outdoor fixtures on the beach corrode years faster than the same hardware a mile inland.
Salt is hygroscopic — it pulls moisture out of the air and holds it against metal, so the metal never fully dries. Add beach sand packed into the wheel wells acting like a wet sponge, and you get corrosion working around the clock in places you can't see. By the time it shows on rocker panels or brake components, it's been going for seasons.
Our process
Flush it out. Don't grind it in.
Fresh-water undercarriage & wheel-well flush
Low-pressure, high-volume fresh water through the wheel wells, rockers, and undercarriage — dissolving and carrying out the salt and packed sand a drive-through wash never reaches.
Touch-free foam pre-soak
An alkaline foam sits on the paint and breaks down salt film and sand without anything touching the surface. This matters on the beach: wiping a sandy car grinds the sand into the clear coat and leaves swirls. So we don't wipe — we dissolve.
Full rinse & hand dry
Everything rinses off clean, then a careful hand dry with plush towels — once the sand is gone, not before.
Optional: ceramic sealant
A sacrificial layer between salt spray and your paint that beads water for roughly four weeks. It's a spray sealant, not a multi-year coating — we're honest about that — and on the beach it earns its keep.

Salt exposure out here is constant, so this works best on a rhythm: first visit at full price, then a monthly Salt Service at $150 for the rest of the season. Same driveway, same time, no re-booking.

Is this a real problem or a sales pitch?
Real, and you can verify it without us: look inside your rear wheel wells or under a rocker panel after a month on Dune Road. Salt corrosion on coastal cars is thoroughly documented — we're not inventing the ocean. What we sell is the fix, not the fear.
How often should this be done?
For a car living on Dune Road all season, monthly. For a weekend car, once mid-summer and once at season's end does most of the work. We'll tell you honestly which you are.
Do you need my water?
A standard outdoor spigot is ideal for the flush. If you don't have one, tell us when you book and we'll work out the right setup for your spot before we schedule.
Will the foam wash scratch my paint?
The opposite — it exists so nothing has to touch sandy paint. Contact only happens at the drying stage, after every grain has been rinsed off.
